Joseph is the best! My friend, Shirley, and did both a cultural tour and Dia de Muertos tour with Joseph. Both tours exceeded our expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable and he adds so much color with his stories about the history and myths of a beautiful people and a spectacular city. We will go back to SMA and we will tour with Joseph again. His tours are a must, plus he’s a really nice guy and his doggie is so sweet.

Excellent tour Day of the Dead tour/ 10/30/22. This was our first tour with Joseph and it was excellent! He is so knowledgeable, a great story teller and very personable! He explained very well the Day of the Dead traditions. I look forward to more of his tours!!

Excellent Tour and Entertaining Tour Guide! We attended the "Day of the Dead" Tour and loved it! We were wanting a better understanding of the celebration, symbolism, and traditions and this tour delivered! Joseph is very knowledgeable and shares info in an entertaining way blending facts and personal experiences and gladly answering questions. Highly recommend!

Day of The Dead Tour 5 *! My husband, sister and her family attended Joseph's Day of The Dead tour on October 29th - after having Joseph's name referred to us by another couple - we were NOT disappointed! Joseph was quick to reply on WhatsApp and we met up with the rest of our group. Joseph was full of incredible information, humorous and kept us all completely engaged and interested the entire time. I highly recommend this tour - I had no idea how the Mexican culture viewed death and how the Day of The Dead was viewed and celebrated. Pepe was a welcome addition - even my 9 and 11 year old nephews enjoyed this tour. We are very thankful for the experience!

First tour with Joseph I had a really great time on the Tomb tour. I have lived in San Miguel for 17 years and have never done this. Sometimes it takes a visitors from out of town to force you to actually see your own town Joseph did a great job and we had a wonderful time. Absolutely learned a lot

Cemetery tour Very much enjoyed our tour of the local cemetery in San Miguel de Allende. Joseph was on time and even though it was just myself and my ‘visiting from the uk’ niece, Joseph gave us a very interesting tour. Full of historical references as to why día de los muertos is important in Mexican culture. How death is treated and respected is an integral part of Mexican life. As an outsider I am privileged to understand a bit more background, so I can participate in theses celebrations at this time of year. Thankyou Joseph.

"Fantastic Tour!!!!!" We thoroughly enjoyed today's Cemetery Tour with Joseph. He was both informative of the history and of the culture. His knowledge is immense and we enjoyed picking his brain and asking question. The timing of our tour was perfect since we have been living in San Miguel de Allende for only 3 1/2 months and next week is the Día de los Muertos. He answered all our questions and sent us an email this evening regarding information on the upcoming events for Day of the Dead. We will definitely be taking other tours with Joseph. Thank you!
